My educational background had a strong impact on my development and interests, and consequently influenced my decisions in life. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a community where growth mindset was encouraged and many educational opportunities were offered. It was the process that was valued and not the end result.
The school system where I grew up in the South of France, had a focus on the ways in which the arts can create a strong network amongst different people and create change through constructive partnerships.
I graduated with a Baccalauréat in Arts from the Académie de Nice, France and soon after was selected and completed an International Law Certificate course in Milan, Italy. I then continued my studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Child Development from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Today, as a graduate student completing a Masters of Art in Art Education at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, I fulfill a lifelong educational investment in a multicultural approach.
